SAP S/4HANA is a new-generation ERP system built on an in-memory database SAP HANA. Thanks to the HANA capabilities, this new cutting-edge software provides you with real-time data processing capabilities, enhanced analytics, streamlined business processes, and a simplified user interface. With S/4HANA, you can make decisions faster, base them on real-time data, and optimize your operations across various business functions.
SAP ECC will no longer be supported after 2027 – but it's not the only reason to switch to the new ERP. Simple and innovative, based on modern design principles and optimized for both desktop and mobile, SAP S/4HANA leverages SAP's 40+ years of experience and best practices across industries. You will be impressed by its speed and possibilities!
When SAP HANA was invented, we knew the day would come for SAP Business Suite to be reinvented for the digital age. At a moment when businesses around the world need to enter new markets and engage with their consumers in any channel, there’s now an innovation platform designed to drive their growth. This is a historic day, and we believe it marks the beginning of the end for the 20th-century IT stack and all the complexity that came with it.Bill McDermott
We perform Conversion to S/4HANA based on Brownfield approach that allows us to prevent changes or major interrupts in your business flow.
Technically, Brownfield Conversion is migrating your business processes and historical data to the SAP HANA database. The methodology also allows us to adapt the custom code created for legacy ERP solutions to S/4HANA. The same goes for integrations: in S/4HANA, you retain all apps you worked with in your legacy ERP system. At the same time, while migrating to S/4HANA, you can switch from on-premise to the cloud solution.
To avoid interruptions of the business flow, our team will copy the existing solution and historical data, migrate these to S/4HANA and thoroughly check if everything works correctly. All tests are performed in a so-called sandbox to avoid interactions with your actual solution before making sure everything works exactly as required.
When we are satisfied with the results of the tests, we update the prod version. Data migration takes about 3-5 hours and can be performed on weekdays or at night. If needed, the downtime can be reduced to 5-20 minutes – with SAP Near-Zero Downtime technology.

S/4HANA definitely is faster than ECC – all thanks to the in-memory database SAP HANA. For example, it took hours for SAP ECC to create an accounting report – and a massive load to the whole system, resulting in a significant slowdown in all applications' performance. With S/4HANA, the same report is available in less than a minute. In general, S/4HANA allows for real-time data processing and analytics, enabling organizations to gain instant access to accurate and up-to-date information and faster and data-driven decision-making.
But S/4HANA has a lot of other benefits: it's user-friendly (thanks to SAP Fiori interface), has tools for advanced analytics and forecasting, automation tools, has best practices for various industries already integrated into the solution – and many more. In simple words, S/4HANA gives companies valuable tools for transformation and scale and for bringing their business to a new level.
It is not mandatory to engage an SAP partner for a S/4HANA conversion; it is highly recommended, though – and here's why:
Ideally, S/4HANA conversion is a process where an SAP partner and an internal client's team collaborate: the SAP partner brings their knowledge of SAP products and methodologies, and the client's team – their deep understanding of the business processes and company goals.
Unfortunately, answering this question without deep knowledge of your project is impossible. These are the factors that influence the cost and terms of S/4HANA conversion for your company:
When we know the answers to these questions, we can estimate the duration and price of your project.
Yes, they are!
SAP HANA is an in-memory database that enables rapid data processing and analysis. It allows organizations to store and retrieve data from memory instead of traditional disk-based storage, resulting in faster data access and processing speeds.

S/4HANA Conversion projects usually take 6 – 18 months. Unfortunately, giving a more precise answer is impossible without deep knowledge of your project. These are the factors that influence the duration (and price!) S/4HANA conversion for your company:
Sure, you can. In this case, a dedicated SAP partner or SAP consultant can assist you throughout the migration process and provide the necessary support. But anyway, note that there has to be a dedicated project manager from your side to control the project and manage some processes (e.g., internal system testing).
